Delhi Riots and Ahimsa Response | Sacred Geometry of Hindu Temples

Does Ahimsa simply mean turning the other cheek and accepting whatever is done? If Ahimsa was promoted by Hinduism’s Rishis and Sages why is it ineffective today? Did Rishis not see what challenges modern Hindus would face? Did they miss something? Or are we missing something?
